These elaborate clocks provide plenty of information – they combine the display of the time with the addition of a calendar and a hand – painted moondisc completed by filigree metal inlays. The Classica K 130 M has an particularly gentle rhythmic swing thanks to its mellow seconds pendulum.

A total of 14 clockmakers at the manufacture are involved in creating true classics . Hand-blued steel hands also indicate the day and date on a fine dial. Of particular interest is the beautiful hand-painted moon phase, which shows the changing illumination of the Moon – in a sense paying homage to Earth’s mystical companion and the way in which its effect on life has captivated people of all eras, and still does today.
